I am not a graphics person.
I do not work well with anything that is remotely artistic, unless you count calculus as artistic.

If you are like me, and find it difficult to get a head start on your game, because you don’t want to be using cubes or triangles as your enemy and main character respectively, don’t worry. The same if you have a beautiful Game idea that would be highly valuable in its play-ability, but you couldn’t draw to save your life.

Don’t worry, I’ve got some tools for you.
Firstly, I was lucky to have a seasoned graphic designer on my team for both of my projects during EGN 3000L, a engineering lab class i have to take at the University of South Florida. He was a sophomore, and had used Photoshop before, and he knew his way around it very well. If you don’t have friends that are artists, well you’re out of luck pal. Ha, I’m joking, there are still many resources available.

Game Art

While a seasoned artist can make these up on the fly, you and I might need to find some images yourself.
For free 2D art, I recommend:

This is one of the largest sources of free 2D art, and this is what I’m currently looking over to implement in my 2D medieval platformer.
